We honour their efforts by making sure we make Mr Yum everything they wanted it to be.

You would be lucky to have any of them on your team, as I was💜

If you would like to speak to them, we have a list you can sign up to and I will be happy to add any colour or information you need to support their applications. They are all immensely capable and get a glowing recommendation and endorsement from me. They left Mr Yum better for having them and will always be a part of our story. They will and should go on to bigger and better things. They were loved and valued members of our company and deeply appreciated members of my team, and I’m not ashamed to admit how sad I am to let them go. These team members gave their all, took on the weight of our goals with grace and class and gusto! They ran towards the fire. My Rock of Gibraltar, Liverpools finest, The Queen of the North, A young superstar, an Aussie Entrepreneur and lastly, probably the nicest human being I’ve ever met - and I don’t say that lightly. It was my pleasure and privilege to work with them. People I chose to hire, people I would happily get on a train at 4am to go and see, people I was proud to stand next to in the trenches, people who taught me, people who inspired me and people I knew had my back. The impact of this meant I had to let some of the finest people I have ever worked with go. But we have created balance and stability now, and with some still to come hard work, we will thrive! We aren’t the first and we won’t be the last. Balancing what they have against what they need, and what they can perceive is possible for them in the next 24 months. Behind every management / leadership door these questions are being asked. It’s easy to look from the outside and question every tiny thing as sinister or contrived, but every single business right now is looking at the same thing. In order to help the business move more rapidly towards healthy economics, self sustainability and being in control of our own destiny, we had to make some very hard choices. This wasn’t a UK thing, this was a company wide change. This week we let go a group of our team globally. This is one of those posts that is hard to read but please believe me, it was harder to write.
